Formula One was back in the USA for the American Grand Prix in Austin, Texas a weekend in which the Red Bull of Max Verstappen dominated in a title fight they looked out of early on in this season but with a late charge the reigning World Champion could still take his fifth title come the end of this season. Verstappen dominated this race leading every lap ahead of Lando Norris who took second and Charles Leclerc who takes an impressive third in a Ferrari that struggled early on in the weekend.

A great start from Max Verstappen to keep the lead with Charles Leclerc up past Lando Norris for second place. Lewis Hamilton is fourth and Oscar Piastri already up to fifth.

The only real piece of excitement from this race came just six laps in when the Mercedes of Kimi Antonelli was facing the wrong way after a collision with the Williams of Carlos Sainz who was forced to pull over and retire from the race.

This championship could well go down to the wire with Piastri, Norris and Verstappen all in contention for the ultimate prize in motorsport.

Another weekend with little drama or excitement which was highlighted by the tyre choices from Pirelli with teams completely avoiding the hard tyre this weekend which removed a large part of what could have added the excitement this race weekend.
