SCHUMACHER WILL RACE FOR HAAS IN 2021

The Schumacher name will return to the Formula One grid in 2021 in the form of Mick Schumacher after a what will be nine year absence since his father Seven Time World Champion Michael Schumacher officially retired at the end of the 2012 season.

Mick Schumacher is currently leading the F2 Championship to fellow Ferrari Young Driver Callum Ilott. Schumacher currently has 205 points to Ilott's 191 points.

Schumacher will race alongside Russian national Mazepin at Haas for 2021.

Since Michael retired a certain Lewis Hamilton has since broken Mick's father's records for wins, podiums and fastest laps and is equal with his father on World Championships at seven a piece. At the Eifel Grand Prix earlier this year - Hamilton took his 91st victory to equal Michael Schumacher and was presented with a helmet of Michael's from Mick. A truly touching gift. But that weekend Mick was determined to get into F1 and put the Schumacher name back on top - which admittedly will be difficult in a Haas.
