CV

ABOUT ME:

I run joshbuckf1.com independently and have done so since the end of the 2018 season. The aim of my blog is to allow me to create articles about something that I have a huge passion for and to help me within the world of journalism. I aim to one day become a presenter following Formula One wether that be with a company or as a freelancer. My other passions include photography and graphic design.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES:

7digital: During my week of work experience I was  taught how to use industry standard radio programs including Proteus and Dira Highlander. Whilst also going to the BBC broadcast house and Wogan House where I was allowed to use the programs (with guidance). And then given the opportunity to create my own radio piece to take away with me.

LoveSport Radio: Within the week I spent at LoveSport I was able to get a better understanding of the workings of a control room as well as get an in depth look at programmes such as Canva and Headliner. I was also introduced into IRN broadcasts.

Reprezent Radio: The week I spent at Reprezent Radio gave me an insight into how a radio station is run. Along with how a show is recorded and edited - gaining experience with programs including Wirecast and Final Cut Pro.

Hamworthy United Football Club: During my week at Hamworthy I was given the opportunity to interview both first team and reserve team managers and players (filmed) as well as write match reports on the two first team games I attended. At the end of the week I travelled up to Bristol with the first team to watch them play in the FA Cup. My second week at the club (November) was at three consecutive home games and was given the opportunity to interview manager Tim Sills, Goalkeeping coach Ben Sullivan, goalkeeper Shane Murphy, defender Tony Rolls and attacker Cam Munn.
